MDaemon Instant Messenger (MDaemon IM) is a desktop application that you can download and install on your computer. It is an instant messenger program that you can use to send instant messages and files to other MDaemon IM users who share your email server. It can also monitor your email account for incoming mail, notify you when new messages arrive, keep your local Windows Address Book up to date, allow you to view your message count by folder, and open Webmail in your browser, all from the MDaemon IM icon on your taskbar. MDaemon IM is only available for Microsoft Windows. The MDaemon Instant Messenger option appears in Settings only if your administrator has made it available to you.
Installation
1.Click Settings, and then MDaemon Instant Messenger.
2.Click Download MDaemon Instant Messenger.
3.Depending on your browser settings, you may or may not be asked to select a location and click Save.
4.Locate the file (MDaemonInstantMessenger.exe) on your hard disk and double-click it.
5.Follow the installer's instructions to complete the installation.
Using MDaemon Webmail's In-browser Chat Feature
MDaemon Webmail also has built-in instant messaging, so you can chat with other MDaemon users without installing a separate program on your computer. In the WorldClient theme, use the Chat page. In the Pro theme, check Enable MDaemon's Instant Messaging feature in browser in the Personalize settings. A collapsible messenger pane is then displayed on the right. If you are not signed in to it automatically, click the Instant Messenger Sign-in icon in the top-right corner. On a small screen, this option is in the menu in the top-right corner. For help with the messenger pane, click the menu button in its bottom-right corner, and click Online help.
