The day view of Webmail's calendar is useful for getting an overview of an entire day's events. Each event is displayed on the day's calendar in the appropriate time slot and lists its basic info, such as its subject and location. In all themes, you can easily change the time of an event by using your mouse to drag it to a different time slot, or you can open the event in the Event editor, which allows you to see and manually edit all of the event's details. In the WorldClient theme, if Show Event Preview on Hover is enabled in your Calendar settings, you can pause the pointer over an event to see a preview of it.

Creating an Event

To create an event in the day view, double-click the time slot where you wish the event to begin (double-tap if using the Pro theme on a smartphone or tablet). You can also click New Event on the toolbar (in Pro, click fa-fa-bars to access the New Event option).

Editing Events

Follow the steps below to edit an event.

WorldClient Theme:

1.Click the event you wish to edit. Its details open beside the calendar.

2.Click Edit. You can also right-click the event and choose Edit.

3.If this is a recurring event, choose This Occurrence or Entire Series.

4.Make any changes to the event, and click Save.

If you have turned off Display Previews in your Personalize settings, clicking an event opens it for editing right away.

Pro Theme:

1.Click the event that you wish to edit, and click Edit.

2.If this is a recurring event, click Edit Occurrence or Edit Series.

3.Make any changes to the event, and click Save.

WorldClient Theme:

1.Right-click the event you wish to delete, and choose Delete.

2.If this is a recurring event, choose Delete Occurrence or Delete Series.

To delete several events at once, hold down Ctrl while you click each one, then click Delete on the toolbar or press the Delete key, and confirm that you want to delete them.

2.If this is a recurring event, click Delete Occurrence or Delete Series.

Printing the Day View

You may want a hard copy of the events on your calendar to take with you for the day or to save for your records. Printing the Day View is a simple task that requires no more than a few clicks.

To print the day's events:

1.Open the calendar to the day you wish to print.

2.Click Print wct_print on the toolbar above the calendar (in Pro, click fa-fa-bars to access the Print option). Most browsers will open a print dialogue that will allow you to set your printer preferences before the page is printed.

You can use the Print Format option in your Calendar settings to choose whether to print a list of the events or the calendar itself.

Highlighting Business Hours in the Day View

Use the Business Hours option in your Calendar settings if you want your business hours to be highlighted on each day of the week in the calendar's Day View and Week View.
