Allowlist entries can be created two ways: manually, when an administrator or user adds an address, host, or IP directly, or automatically, when the sending user's "Automatically allowlist addresses I send mail to" option is enabled and they send a message to a new address (see User Options). Use this page to control whether those automatically created entries eventually get removed if they go unused, and after how many days. Manually added entries are never affected by this setting. This option can be configured globally or for specific domains. To configure it for a specific domain, choose that domain from the "For Domain:" drop-down list box at the top of the page, choose your setting, and then click Save.

Auto-Purge

Remove unused automatically created allowlist entries after [xx] days

When checked, allowlist entries that were created automatically are removed once they go the specified number of days without being used again by an outgoing message. Enter the number of days in the box provided. This option is enabled by default, with a default value of 90 days. Clearing this checkbox disables automatic removal entirely, and automatically created entries will then remain on the allowlist indefinitely.

Exceptions - Domains

If you select a specific domain in the "For Domain:" drop-down list box at the top of the page when configuring these settings, that domain will be listed here after saving the settings. Click the View/Edit link for the corresponding domain to review or edit its Allowlists Configuration settings, or click Reset to reset the domain's settings to the default Global values.
