Blacklists

Blacklists are lists of email addresses, hosts, and IP addresses whose messages you wish to block or quarantine. By default those messages will be refused during the SMTP session, but on the Blacklist Action page you can change this setting so that they will be quarantined instead. The action that will be taken can be set globally and for specific domains, and the blacklists themselves can also be set as global or domain specific. Further, although items are typically added to blacklists one at a time, each blacklist also has an import feature, which allows you to use a comma separated values (CSV) file to add multiple items at once. Finally, each list also has an export feature, which allows you to save the contents of the blacklist to a CSV file. There are three types of blacklists, all of which can be set globally and for specific domains:

Addresses Blacklist - Use this blacklist to block or quarantine messages that are from specific email addresses.

Host Blacklist - This blacklist is used to block or quarantine messages based on the specific hosts delivering them (e.g. mail.example.com, smtp.example.net, and so on).

IP Blacklist - The IP Blacklist blocks or quarantines messages based on the IP address of the host attempting to send them.
