This page is only available in the MDaemon Remote Administration (MDRA) web-interface.

You can use this page to manage your eM Client licenses directly within MDRA. From here, MDaemon global administrators can request eM Client licenses, purchase additional licenses, and manage activations. eM Client is an excellent, fully-featured email client with a clean and easy-to-use interface. It also offers features for calendars, tasks, contacts, notes, and chat. It is available for Windows and macOS (there are also free clients for Android and iOS). For more information about how eM Client can be leveraged with MDaemon, visit: https://mdaemon.com/pages/emclient-for-email.

eM Client Licensing

Global administrators can use this option to request an eM Client license with 3 FREE client/device activations. To do so, use the drop-down list box to select the MDaemon domain with which you wish to associate the license, and click Request A License below. The "postmaster@[selected domain]" will be sent an email message from MDaemon containing a verification code to confirm that it is a valid address to which you have access. This code will expire in 24 hours. After entering the code to validate the domain's "postmaster@" email address, fill-in the License registration information form and click Submit.

The license will be associated with the selected domain, and will allow you to activate up to three clients under that domain's license for free. If you host more than one domain on your MDaemon server, you can use this feature to request a license with three free activations for each of your domains. Licenses are associated with organizational domains such as "example.com". Therefore any sub-domains, such as "sub1.example.com", would need to be covered under the "example.com" license. If you wish to purchase more licenses or expand a current license to cover more device activations, you can do so via the $ Purchase Licenses button above.

Licenses

This area contains a list of all your eM Client licenses. Each entry lists the domain with which it is associated, the license's activation key, the number of clients activated, and its issued and expiration dates. Select a license and click Copy Activation Key to Clipboard if you need to copy/paste it into a client/device or send it to someone in order for them to activate a client. Further, when a license is selected, the list of all activations associated with that license will be displayed in the License Activations section below.

License Activations

This area displays information about each activation that is associated with the license you selected above. It lists the account it is associated with, its activation date, its current status, and other info. Click any entry and you can Activate, Deactivate, or Delete that client activation.
